Each Pixel Byte is a unique 32×32 character built from 8 traits across 4 rarity tiers — Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary — with over 16 million possible combinations. Traits include backgrounds, skin tones, eyes, headwear, outfits, accessories, expressions, and effects, each with its own rarity weight and on-chain rarity score.
Pixel Bytes also features an Evolve mechanic — burn any two tokens to merge them into a new one that inherits the rarest trait from each slot, permanently destroying both parents in the process.
